Man sues autocad over eBay sale restriction

 

Dog bites man - not news : man bites dog !!!!

A lawsuit has been filed in Federal Court (US District Court for the Western Washington District C07-1189 JLR) that alleges Autodesk , Inc maker of the industry standard AutoCAD software and their attorney Andrew S. Mackay have devised an illegal scheme to have used copies of their software removed from the eBay site using the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

2D/3D design come to Mac

 

Punch! Software LLC, developers of the #1 best-selling home and landscape design software on the retail market, have announced that its upcoming ViaCAD release will support the Google SketchUp 6 import file formats.

I am intrigued by this one - after watching the promo video it looks very impressive - anyone out there had any experience with it ?
