A week after the launch of the first lunar orbiter , the government Tuesday announced the building of a new family of rocket launchers and a launch center.

Funny how the space race used to be a 2 horse race - look at it now - and the Chinese are out there leading the charge - it's a funny old world - poverty and pollution on the one hand and this huge technical effort on the other hand, - I suppose that the Soviets did the same - National pride or whatever is very important - even tho' the majority of the population are in poverty - I guess that North Korea is a classic example

Mmmmm - I suppose I did get off the point a bit - All I can say is that there is plenty of competition out there - but they won't last the distance - this area needs too much reliable technology and they don't have it
