Study questions attempts to kill the dead zone

 Scientists and environmental engineers again attempt a counter measure to liven up this area

The infamous "dead zone" in the Gulf of Mexico has yet to meet its match. An intergovernmental plan hatched in 2000 has failed to shrink the New Jersey-sized stretch of water with oxygen levels too low to support many kinds of life. Now, scientists writing a new U.S. EPA assessment recommend a change in tactics
