Airbus woes weigh on EADS results
 
The European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company , scrambling to restructure its beleaguered subsidiary Airbus, posted Thursday a 93-percent drop in first half profits but also a booming order book.

EADS said net profits in the first half of the year had slumped to 71 million euros (97 million dollars), compared with 1.056 billion in the same period last year.
