Clipped to the Drawing Board by Administrator

Casey Litaker has been living an aerospace engineer’s dream the last five years, designing the most technologically advanced commercial aircraft ever built.

Litaker heads the engineering team at Vought Aircraft Industries in Dallas that has played a major role designing and developing the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. It’s the kind of opportunity that might come along only once in an engineer’s career.

"I remember starting out on the B-2 [bomber] 25 years ago and thinking, 'This is aviation,’ " Litaker said. "Then nothing like that came along until this."
