Robert Stephenson-Railway Pioneer 150th Anniversary of his death

 
Robert Stephenson helped his father, George, design and build the most famous early railway locomotive the "Rocket" in 1829.

Born 16th October 1803 and died 12th October 1859.   The 12th October 2009 marked the 150th anniversary of his death
