Tenneco wins $24 million loan to design advanced auto parts in Michigan
The Energy Department awarded a $24 million retooling loan to an auto supplier to design advanced components in Michigan. Lake Forest, Ill.-based Tenneco Inc. became the first auto supplier under the $25 billion retooling program to win funding "to develop fuel efficient emission control components for advanced technology vehicles," the department said.
