Who am I

I was born December 18th 1943 in Dartford, Kent England

My maternal grandfather was Augustus Theodore Dupree who toured the UK in a band called "Gus Dupree and his Boys" and he was an early influence

My first guitar was a Rosetti

In 1959 I was expelled from Dartford Technical College for truancy and I then went to Sidcup Art College

Chuck Berry has been a constant inspiration and my first band "Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys" played many Chuck Berry numbers

I'm best known as a guitarist-songwriter but have worked as a session guitarist for many other groups and artists

I have recorded 3 solo albums, the last being in 1992 called Main Offender
