General Dynamics Land Systems gets $203 million Stryker contract

Sterling Heights-based General Dynamics Land Systems received a $203 million contract to equip the U.S. Army with a next-generation fleet of Stryker eight-wheeled combat vehicles, the company announced today.
The award last week by the U.S. Army Tacom Life Cycle Management Command in Warren includes an initial $42.6 million payout for GDLS to complete design and engineering work in Sterling Heights and to build a demonstrator for testing by the military next year.
