In my early days I was arrested for having an affair with a married women, which was a criminal offence at that time
I worked as a delivery boy at the Jersey Observer
I also worked as a riveter at the Tietjan and Lang Shipyard
I began singing in public in the early 30's
I got my firriest break when I joined a group called "The Three Flashes" and we became the "Hoboken Four"
As a group we appeared on the "Major Bowes Amateur Hour" and won first prize
I left the group in 1935 and got a job as  a singing waiter and MC at the Rustic Cabin in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey
In 1939 I made a demo recording of "Our Love" with the Frank Mane Band
I released my first commercial  record in 1939 called "From the Bottom of My Heart"
I made my first public appearance with the Tommy Dorsey Band at the Colorado Theatre in Rockford, Il
In May 1941 I was at the top of the male singer polls in the Billboard and Downbeat magazines
I won an academy award for  "best supporting actor" in "From Here To Eternity" in 1953
Also in 1953 I stared in the NBC radio program Rocky Fortune
I was a member of "The Rat Pack"
I always did it My Way
I "retired" in 1971
I came out of retirement in 1973 with a TV special and album, both titled "Ol' Blue Eyes Is Back"
I died January 1997
