The Original Hybrid Car ?    Well maybe

Engineering is a fascinating subject and Mechanical Engineering in particular never ceases to amaze.

Many concepts have been around for hundreds if not thousands of years and we keep developing and reworking them to make them relevant to the 21st century.  Most people are familiar with  numerous elements of Engineering design which have been used through the ages, whether it is the Romans road designs, aqueducts, building pyramids or the steam engine.
The attached article, “Lohner Semper Vivus review” again demonstrates that “new technology” may in fact not be that new.  I could wax lyrically about the genius which was Ferdinand Porsche but think this article is a much more fitting tribute.
