Japan's Toray plans big investment in carbon fibre car parts

 

This is another way to get strength and lighter cars - less to move around means better fuel consumption - better fuel consumption means.... and so it goes on

TOKYO (AFP) - A Japanese firm said Tuesday it aimed to become the world's first company to mass produce car parts made of carbon fibre , which can make vehicles stronger, lighter and more fuel efficient.
