Followup - You know you're an engineer

Clipped to the Drawing Board by Ryan

Well we had you know if you're an old engineer a few days ago.  So I thought I'd follow it up with a plain old,  you know you're an engineer

It's scary how many of these actually seem true even though it's supposed to be humour.

Add any others you can think of as comments below.

You know you're an engineer when you tell a laborer the clutch of a screw/drill is slipping because it's not set right and the bit is not drilling because drill is set in REVERSE!

You know you're an engineer when a fellow 'Car Inspector' attempts to clean a 'knife switch box' with a detergent solution from a spray bottle with 600 VDC applied to it!

You know you're an engineer when a laborer attempts to adjust Ni-Cad battery bay cables with uninsulated tools assuming opening up a breaker makes things safe....drops a wrench....sees sparks....jumps off a platform ladder and fractures an ankle.

A little knowledge can go a long way towards disaster. THOSE people are out there....yahgottakeepnumbahone the priority...128K pounds of rolling steel over your head is no joke.
