Ten Habits of Incompetent Managers

Clipped to the Drawing Board by Dave Ellery

Three years ago, I joined the board of a company whose management, I soon recognized, was incompetent . I said so, but I was a new board member and the management had a lot of old friends and allies on the board. I was listened to respectfully but nothing much happened.

Ummm i don't know if this was supposed to be serious... It seems like it is though. The traits are very real.

I know I'll be watching for these tomorrow at work I've seen them so often. Sometimes more than 2 of the items in one person

Me TOO! Is this humour or is this something more!? It's a management epedemic!

I think that they are all good points - and interesting to see how the organisation i work in uses them all - easy to point out the deficiencies - but many people use these as support mechanisms - so it's up to senior management to fix - unfortunately Senior management is usually senior management because it has used these points to becoume Senior management - so it will not change - sorry - good for a sectret smile tho'
